Scholarships

The Wildcat Foundation sponsors two scholarships for the students of NLRHS-West Campus. Both scholarships recognize student achievement and their commitment to excellence. The scholarship funding allows the Foundation to play a crucial role in the student's future. As always, we greatly appreciate all financial support that help fund these scholarships. The Shining Star Scholarship

This Scholarship is given annually to a speech and drama student at NLRHS. The Scholarship was established in the spring of 2010 to honor over 70 years of service of Carol Ann McAdams and Pris Benson. The recipient is the student who does whatever is necessary to insure a successful drama production. The student is self-motivated and recognized as a leader among peers.    

The Anita Cameron Legacy Scholarship

Originated in 1998, The Wildcat Legacy Scholarship is designed to recognize the student leader who crosses boundaries and dedicates their efforts to make NLRHS a better place. The winner must be respected by both the student body and the staff and be involved in a variety of student activities. In 2009, the scholarship was renamed after Anita Cameron upon her retirement as Principal of NLRHS-West Campus. Ms. Cameron's dedication and hard work over her career provides the best possible example of what this scholarship represents.
